Welcome to our final newsletter of 2020. 

I hope you are all keeping well and looking after yourselves.

As we head into the uncertainty of the months ahead, I wanted to update you on the services we have on offer, to keep you all moving. It has never been more important to keep your mind and body healthy, so let’s keep the momentum up and get through this together. 

Virtual Pilates.

For those of you enjoying the freedom to do your Pilates classes whenever and wherever you like, we have our last 6 week course of Virtual Pilates classes for 2020. 

The next Intermediate/Advanced Virtual Pilates course starts on Wednesday 4th November. 

To book your place on the new course, please can you now arrange your payment using the usual BACS payment details. 

Course Cost - £38 per person. 

 

Small Group ‘Live’ Pilates Classes. 

For the latter part of this year, I will be trialling some small group Pilates classes from Summit Physiotherapy, Chorley. 

The classes will take place when the clinic is closed to physiotherapy patients, so we will have exclusive use of the whole gym and clinic areas. Summit is a COVID secure environment. 

The sessions will be taught with 4 people in each class, allowing me to deliver a much more clinical and individual focused service. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

The classes will be taught in a 4 week block, with each class running for 55 minutes. Please see below for the class timetable and email us to book your place. 

Course Cost - £42 per person.

Course Start Date - Thursday 5th November. 

5.30pm Class.

6.30pm Class. 

Course Start Date - Saturday 31st October. 

1pm Class 

2pm Class 

Course Start Date - Thursday 3rd December

5.30pm Class 

6.30pm Class 

 

POP-UP Cardio Core. 

I have been so impressed with how many of you embraced the bonus cardio and barre classes throughout lockdown. 

      

It would be great to see your smiling faces as we workout together, in a live steamed class format. 

The Pop-Up classes are suitable for all levels, with lots of options and adaptations given. 

If you would like to join these classes, please get in touch to register. If we have enough interest, we can get Zooming!

The Pop-ups will take place on the dates below and each class is 45 minutes. 

Class Cost - £6 

Cardio Core - 9.30am Sunday 8th November. 

Cardio Core - 6pm Friday 20th November.

Barre Pilates - 6pm Friday 27th November.

 

1:1 Pilates Clinic. 

For the more bespoke Pilates experience, we have our 1:1 Pilates Clinic based at Summit Physiotherapy Clinic, Chorley. 

          

You can choose from Pilates Matwork and Pilates Apparatus, which includes the Reformer and Cadillac.

I also specialise in Post Natal core recovery, Pilates for Osteoporosis, Exercise prescription for 3rd age women, Spine Safe Rehab Pilates and Biomechanics assessments.

Continued Professional Development.

Pilates For Hypermobility Course.

As my final course for this year, I am really looking forward to learning more on how Pilates can benefit those with hypermobility. 

I have lots of clients who will benefit from my further education on this subject and It will be great to get my grey cells working again too!

Janet is a long standing member of our Pilates classes and always gives it 100%. 

Throughout lockdown, Janet committed herself more than ever and has come out the other side, stronger a fitter. Always smiling and a great positive attitude. Janet is an absolute star! 

Well done Janet, keep up the great work! 

 

This year has tested us all in so many ways. I just wanted to say a huge 'THANK-YOU' to you all for committing yourselves and working so hard, during the lockdown and beyond. You have certainly kept my spirits up and I feel very lucky to have you all.
