Summer News 2021

Welcome to our Summer newsletter. 

I hope you are all fighting fit and enjoying the warmer weather. 

As the restrictions are starting to lift, we can look ahead to some more live classes over the Summer. I really cannot wait to see more of you in person! 

COVID has brought many changes to the way we are all working. Whilst we proceed with caution in our plans, I will continue to offer a Hybrid approach, to be able to cater for all your needs.

Please take a look below for what we have going on over the next couple of months. 


Let’s Go Outside - Pop-Up Pilates. 



The sun finally got his hat on, so we hit the great outdoors. It really was a lovely evening with you all and I am already looking forward to the next one. 

Our next outdoor Pop - Up’s are also held at Withnell Fold Tennis Club and the dates/times are detailed on our classes page. 

If you would like to book, please let in touch as places tend to book up quickly.


Community Classes - Live 

It has been great to see you all back on the mat again. 

All our classes are fully booked, with a maximum of 12 people in each session. This affords us enough space for social distancing in a COVID secure environment. 

If you would like to go on the waiting list for future course, just drop me an email. 


Virtual Pilates 

Well done to everyone who signed up for our June virtual classes.

The virtual class option means to you can enjoy the benefits of Pilates, whenever and wherever works for you. Once you have purchased a course of classes, you have unlimited access for 12 months! 

The next 4 week course starts - Wednesday 7th July.

Pilates Apparatus Studio 

The clinic has been buzzing since April and I am really enjoying the challenges of 1:1 Pilates. 

Our Pilates studio at Summit Physiotherapy is perfect for those who enjoy the apparatus, such as the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac or maybe just want to focus on a more bespoke programme, tailored to your specific requirements. 

I have opened up the diary for July and there are only a few appointments left, so do get in touch if you would like to book. 


Pop - Up Barre Pilates. 

Date - Friday 9th July,  6-6.45pm

Location - Gillies Dance School, Chorley

Meet me at the barre for a standing Pilates class at the barre. This fusion of ballet barre and Pilates is a great way to bone load, build strength and functionaility. 

Limited places, so get in touch to book your spot. 

Pop Up Cardio Core

Friday 9th July 7 - 7.30pm 

Location - Gillies Dance School, Chorley 

A class designed to boost your fitness. This 30 minute interval class will challenge your cardiovascular system, build strength, stability and mobility. A great class to tag on to the Barre Pilates or just come for the cardio! 

Again, there are limited places, so do get in touch to book.
